A healthy immune system is critical to our health and longevity. Many diseases result from a weakened immune system. There are a few simple ways that a person can do in order to help keep their immune system healthy and functioning properly.
First, by taking a multi-vitamin each day can actually help build red blood cells and help your body to stay strong and filter out toxins. In addition, I normally take extra vitamin C even though it is contained in my multi-vitamin. I have found that I very seldom contract a cold or virus.
Finally, eating correctly and daily exercise is good for every one. Just walking around the block a few times helps your blood to circulate and burns excess calories. Modifying your refine sugars and fats in your diet also helps a great deal.
Most important, limit your alcohol intake. A glass or red or white wine each day has been proven to have health benefits.
