Sodium ascorbate, not to be confused with ascorbic acid, has far-reaching health benefits according to a number of medical studies. It is considered the non-acidic form of vitamin C. It is also used to alleviate symptoms of the common cold. - Bowl
- Ascorbic acid powder
- Baking soda
Instructions
Mix 2 tbsp. ascorbic acid powder with 1 tbsp. baking soda.
Add a small amount of water. The mixture will begin to fizz.
Mix gently until the fizzing stops. What you have left is sodium ascorbate.
