Nutritious Grain Bowl Recipe: A Guide to Wholesome Eating
Ingredients:
* 1/4 cup cooked quinoa
* 1/4 cup cooked lentils
* 1/4 cup cooked black beans
* 1/4 cup cooked brown rice
* 1/2 cup chopped vegetables (such as carrots, celery, onions, peppers)
* 1/4 cup cooked tofu or tempeh (optional)
* 1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)
* 1/4 cup salsa or guacamole (optional)
* Salt and pepper to taste
* Dressing of your choice (such as olive oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, or honey mustard)
_Instructions_ :
1. Cook quinoa, lentils, and black beans according to package instructions and brown rice.
2. While grains are cooking, heat olive oil in a skillet or pan over medium heat and cook vegetables until softened, about 3 minutes.
3. Add tofu or tempeh and cook until heated through, about 1-2 minutes.
4. Stir in cooked grains and lentils to the skillet, along with cheese (if using) and warm through, about 3-4 minutes.
5. Remove skillet from heat and season with salt and pepper.
6. Divide mixture between two bowls and top with salsa or guacamole, if using.
7. Drizzle with dressing of choice and serve immediately.
