Bicuspids are found in both the upper and lower jaws, and they play a crucial role in chewing and grinding food. The four bicuspid teeth in the upper jaw are known as the maxillary premolars, while the four bicuspid teeth in the lower jaw are called the mandibular premolars. Each person typically has four bicuspid teeth in the upper jaw and four in the lower jaw, totaling eight bicuspid teeth.
