Locate the UPC on Crest Whitestrips: A Quick Guide
UPC stands for Universal Product Code. It is the unique identifying barcode placed on any product that is sold in stores. In 1974, Wrigley's Chewing Gum became the first item with a UPC scanned at a check out. Crest Whitestrips will also have its own UPC on the outside packaging.
Instructions
Find the correct product on the store's shelf. Crest sells a variety of Whitestrips that all produce white teeth over different periods of time. Note the different types of strips: 2-Hour Express, Professional Effects, Advanced Vivid, Vivid, Gentle Routine and Stain Shield.
Locate the UPC. It will be a rectangle filled with white and black vertical lines, all differing in width. There are 12 numbers along the bottom. It is usually located on the back or bottom of the product.
Record the numbers along the bottom of the UPC. These numbers link specifically to this particular Crest product. Input this number into any product finder and this specific product will appear. Use it compare different Crest Whitestrips products or other brands.
