Understanding Guinea Pig Feces: What's Normal and What's Not

Guinea pig feces are formed by tightly-compressed hard pellets and cecum. The cecum is a fermented, soft brown and white matter. Cecals are often mistaken as diarrhea. These are healthy and full of nutrients. Guinea pigs normally eat their cecals for full utilization of the nutrients.
