Is it ok for a nine year old to use whitening strips?
It's generally not recommended for children under the age of 12 to use teeth whitening strips. Their teeth and gums are still developing and could be more sensitive to the chemicals in whitening strips. Additionally, the long-term effects of teeth whitening on young teeth are not fully known.
If your child is concerned about the appearance of their teeth, it's best to talk to your dentist. They can evaluate your child's teeth and gums and recommend the safest and most effective way to achieve a brighter smile.
