You do not need to change your toothbrush after having strep throat. Strep throat is caused by bacteria that live in the throat and nose. It is spread through contact with respiratory droplets from an infected person. Toothbrushes do not come into contact with the throat or nose, so they cannot be contaminated with strep bacteria.
