Also known as baking soda, bicarbonate of soda cleans an almost unlimited amount of household items. Another use for this common cleaning agent is cleaning teeth. Baking soda not only cleans and removes stains on teeth but also helps kill bacteria found in the mouth. If you are looking for an environmentally safe product and at the same time a way to cut down on spending, try using baking soda the next time you brush your teeth.Things You'll Need
- Bowl
- 1-½ tsp. baking soda

Brush your teeth as you normally would. Rinse with water. You can also brush your teeth with toothpaste or rinse with mouthwash afterward to get rid of the bicarbonate taste in your mouth.
