Waterpik Uses Beyond Flossing: Creative Cleaning & Art Ideas
The Waterpik is a dental tool that uses a jet of water to clean the gum line and between the teeth. As such, it is an alternative to flossing. In fact, the Water Pik company claims that its product is "up to 93% more effective than dental floss at improving gum health." However, as a flossing alternative is not the only way you can use your Waterpik.-
Do a Jackson Pollock
-
Lay your canvas on the floor. Fill the Waterpik reservoir with thin paint. Switch on the Waterpik and aim the tip at the canvas. Try to emulate some of Jackson Pollock's techniques, as pointed out by Leonhard Emmerling, including drips, swirls and pours. Apply paint to the canvas from all directions, as Pollock used to do. Allow the paint to dry before you stand up the canvas.
Water the Plants
-
Fill the Waterpik reservoir with water. Switch on the Waterpik and aim the tip at the base of your plants. Water in the morning, in accordance with advice from Nancy Brachey, to give leaves time to dry off.
Make Ironing Easier
-
Make ironing easier by squirting water from your Waterpik onto the garments you are ironing. Squirt on a little water at a time. Run the hot iron over the damp patch, and creases will be easier to remove.
