Safe & Easy Denture Removal: A Step-by-Step Guide
It is very easy to learn how to properly remove your dentures. You will want to make sure that you do not hurt yourself or damage your dentures in the process.

PROTECT YOUR DENTURES - Dentures are very expensive and they can easily be damaged if you drop them during insertion or removal. Protect your dentures by placing a towel in the sink while you remove or insert your dentures. If you drop them, they will be cushioned by the towel. You can also fill the sink with water to protect your dentures.
RINSE - Rinse your mouth out with water prior to trying to remove your dentures.
REMOVAL - Slowly and gently rock your dentures back and forth to remove them. You should be able to properly remove your dentures without pain or damage to you or your dentures.
CLEAN - Clean and/or soak your dentures as you normally would. Proper care of dentures is very important because they are expensive and can be damaged easily.
