Why are silver tooth fillings toxic to your bodies?
There is no evidence that silver tooth fillings are toxic to your body. Silver amalgam fillings have been used safely and effectively for over 150 years and are considered to be the most durable and cost-effective material for restoring decayed teeth.
While silver amalgam does contain mercury, the amount of mercury released is extremely small and well below the levels that would cause any harmful effects. In fact, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other health organizations have conducted extensive studies and have found no evidence to support the claim that silver tooth fillings are toxic.
