Venules to Capillaries: Understanding Blood Drainage in the Body

The blood from the venules drains into the capillaries. The capillaries are the smallest blood vessels in the body, and they connect the arterioles to the venules. The capillaries allow oxygen and nutrients to diffuse out of the blood into the tissues, and they also allow carbon dioxide and waste products to diffuse out of the tissues into the blood.
