How to Choose Full Denture, Dentures or Partial
You and your dentist may differ on which type of denture or dentures are right for you, full denture or partial denture. Consideration must be given to several conditions, from dental ridges(where your teeth lay) to financial concern for the present and future.Remember, whatever decision you and your dentist decide, it is you who will have to live with the final outcome.

FULL DENTURE or DENTURES:
Discover the quality of your dental ridges. Are they of good quality ,enough to support full dentures for now and in the future? You should bear in mind that over time your dental ridges will change or recede to some extent.
PARTIAL DENTURE:
Find out if your adjoining natural teeth are strong enough to hold a partial denture in place. Would your dentist need to rebuild a supporting tooth or teeth or, suggest inserting metal posts(implants) in the jawbone? Implants can be quite expensive.
IMPLANTS:
Consider having an implant. Implants are also something to consider if supporting natural teeth aren't strong enough to support a full denture or partial denture. The quality of your jawbone is the most important factor.
COST:
Think about what is best for your lifestyle and wallet. The process of getting a partial denture may cost considerably more than full dentures.
The negative about a full denture is once all of your teeth are removed there's no going back.
The cost of implants are normally an out-of-pocket expense, since most insurance companies do not cover this procedure.
