Lost Tampon: Bleeding and Removal – What You Need to Know
If a tampon gets stuck or lost in the vagina, the blood will usually still flow out around it. So as the blood flows out, the tampon will get saturated and expand. This can cause discomfort, pain, or a feeling of fullness in the vagina. If you find that you have lost a tampon, you should try to remove it as soon as possible. You can do this by reaching inside the vagina and gently pulling on the string of the tampon. If you cannot reach the string, you should see a healthcare provider.Cavities - Related Articles
