Understanding Stretch Marks: Causes, Appearance & Treatments
Stretch marks (striae) appear as narrow, parallel lines or streaks on the skin. They can be red, purple, or white in color, and may vary in width and length. Stretch marks are most commonly found on the abdomen, thighs, hips, and breasts, but can occur anywhere on the body. They are common during pregnancy, puberty, and periods of rapid weight gain or loss. Stretch marks are not usually painful, but can be itchy or uncomfortable.Braces - Related Articles
