Baby Hand Development: When Do Babies Recognize Their Hands?

Babies first notice their hands at around 2-4 months of age. This is when they start to develop hand-eye coordination and are able to bring their hands in front of their faces. They may also start to reach for objects and explore their surroundings with their hands.
