Pelvic Tenderness Assessment: Procedure & Interpretation
Pelvic Tenderness Test
Purpose: To check for tenderness in the pelvis.
Equipment:
* None
Procedure:
1. Place the victim in a supine position with the knees flexed and the hips abducted.
2. Gently palpate the bony pelvis, including the iliac crests, the耻骨联合, the sacrum, and the coccyx.
3. Ask the victim to indicate any areas of tenderness.
Interpretation:
* Tenderness in the pelvis may be a sign of a pelvic fracture or other injury.
* Further evaluation by a medical professional is recommended if the victim experiences pelvic tenderness.
