Parathyroid Glands Location: Understanding Their Position Relative to the Hypothalamus

The parathyroid glands are not posterior to the hypothalamus. They are typically located on the back of the thyroid gland in the upper part of the neck. The hypothalamus is a region of the brain located at the base of the skull, below the thalamus and above the pituitary gland.
