Solaraze: A Comprehensive Guide to Treating Actinic Keratosis
Solaraze is a gel used to treat a skin condition called actinic keratosis, which is a scaly or crusty bump that forms on the skin. Typically actinic keratoses appear on sun-exposed areas of skin like the face, ears, and backs of hands. They are seen as a precursor to skin cancer. Solaraze is used to diminish these patches of skin. Its active ingredient, diclofenac, is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug, or NSAID.Things You'll Need

Reapply Solaraze twice each day for 60 to 90 days, or as directed by your physician. Typically Solaraze is applied in the morning before dressing and at night before going to bed.
Wash hands thoroughly after applying Solaraze. Do not touch or rub your eyes until you've washed Solaraze from your hands.
