Main Bronchi: Understanding the Airways to Your Lungs

The main bronchi are the two large branches of the trachea that enter the lungs. They are known as the right main bronchus and left main bronchus. Each primary bronchus enters a corresponding lung, where it further branches into secondary (lobar) bronchi, and then into tertiary (segmental) bronchi, and so on.
