What part of the lung does capillaries flow through?
The capillaries in the lungs flow through the alveoli. The alveoli are small, sac-like structures in the lungs where gas exchange takes place. The capillaries are very thin and allow oxygen to pass from the alveoli into the bloodstream, and carbon dioxide to pass from the bloodstream into the alveoli.Respiratory Disorders - Related Articles
