CNA Responsibilities: Handling Bodily Fluids & Infection Control

CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) are responsible for providing basic care to patients under the supervision of nurses or other healthcare professionals. Cleaning up bodily fluids, including vomit, is part of their job duties. In most cases, CNAs are required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling bodily fluids to minimize the risk of infection.
