Tylenol PM Directions
Tylenol PM is a fast-acting medication that relieves aches and pains and helps induce sleep. The product is available in gelcaps, caplets and geltabs. The active ingredients in Tylenol PM are acetaminophen -- a non-aspirin pain reliever -- and diphenhydramine -- an antihistamine that treats symptoms of allergies and hay fever, and also causes drowsiness, which makes it effective as a mild sleep aid. The medicine is recommended for adults and children over the age of 12.
Instructions
Read the product directions carefully.
Check the expiration date of your package of your Tylenol PM. Check the packaging for any evidence of tampering. If the safety wrap around the bottle, or the inner foil seal marked with "Safety Seal," is broken, do not use the medication.

Store the medicine in a cool, dry place that's ideally between 68 and 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
