Directions to Take a Rapid-Release Capsule
Rapid-release capsules are meant for people who need to quickly absorb medicine into their systems. Pain medication like oxycodone may come in rapid-release pills so that the medication can start managing pain right away. Taking a rapid release pill is almost the exact same process as taking any other sort of medication found in pill form.
Instructions
Measure out the appropriate dose. If you need one capsule, don't take more, but if you need two capsules, take them both at the same time.
Pour a glass of drinkable liquid. Water is good, but lemonade or even soda should work equally well. Avoid mixing rapid-release capsules with alcohol.
Put the pills in your mouth. Take a drink of your liquid of choice. Swallow both pills and liquid. Swallow the capsules whole; don't chew or grind them before swallowing.
