Ringworm Contagious Period: When Can You Return to Normal Activities?

You are considered contagious until the ringworm lesions are completely healed and have disappeared. Treatment for ringworm usually takes 2-4 weeks, but some severe infections might require up to 6 weeks of treatment. Once the lesions have healed, you are no longer contagious and can resume normal activities.
