* North America: Lyme disease is found in the United States and Canada.
* Asia: Lyme disease is found in China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, Russia, and Taiwan.
The risk of Lyme disease varies from region to region. In some areas, the risk is very high, while in others it is very low. The risk of Lyme disease is also affected by the time of year, with the highest risk occurring during the spring and summer months when ticks are most active.
