Tuberculosis (TB) Vaccine: Who Needs It and Why?

It is not true that everybody needs to be vaccinated for tuberculosis. Only certain groups of people are recommended to receive the vaccine. Typically, only healthcare workers, people who live in high incidence areas, and those with weakened immune systems may be recommended to receive the tuberculosis vaccine.
