Signs and symptoms of malignant hyperthermia can include:
* Rapid heart rate
* High blood pressure
* Muscle rigidity
* Increased body temperature
* Sweating
* Nausea and vomiting
* Confusion
* Seizures
* Loss of consciousness
Malignant hyperthermia can be fatal if not treated quickly. If you experience any of these symptoms during or after surgery, tell your doctor or nurse immediately.
