Can HIV be spread through spit?
The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is not transmitted through saliva. Although HIV is present in the saliva of infected individuals, the amount of virus is very low, and it is not sufficient to cause infection. This means that it is not possible to get HIV from kissing, sharing drinks, or accidental contact with saliva from someone who is infected.HIV & AIDS - Related Articles
