HIV Transmission During Menstruation: What You Need to Know
There is no evidence to suggest that a woman can transmit HIV to her male partner during her period if she does not have HIV. HIV is transmitted through contact with infected blood, semen, or vaginal fluids. Menstruation involves the shedding of the endometrium, which does not contain HIV. Therefore, there is no risk of HIV transmission during menstruation if the woman is not infected with HIV.HIV & AIDS - Related Articles
