When does blood become oxygenated?
Blood becomes oxygenated in the lungs. When we inhale, oxygen from the air we breathe enters the lungs. In the lungs, oxygen molecules diffuse from the air sacs (alveoli) into the capillaries, which are tiny blood vessels. The oxygen-rich blood is then pumped by the heart to the rest of the body.Hemorrhage - Related Articles
