Eating disorders have some of the deadliest statistics among mental illnesses. Anorexia has the highest mortality rate of any mental illness, at upwards of 20% of sufferers. Bulimia has a mortality rate of 3%-5%, while binge eating disorder ranges from 1.5%-5%.
