Bonine is an antihistamine that is intended to treat nausea, vomiting and dizziness that can occur as a result of motion sickness, according to Web MD. Bonine can also be taken to treat the dizziness and lightheadedness from inner ear issues. It is taken orally. This drug contains the active ingredient meclizine and can be purchased over the counter at drug stores.
Instructions
Take one tablet of Bonine approximately one hour before traveling by air, water, car or any other method that may trigger motion sickness.
Take the Bonine with a full glass of liquid, such as water or juice. Chewable Bonine can be taken whole, crushed or chewed, and it should be washed down with the liquid as well.
Take Bonine as directed by a physician to treat the dizziness associated with inner ear problems.
