How to set Accu-Chek Advantage meter
The Accu-Chek Advantage blood glucose meter has a variety of settings that increase the user-friendliness of the device. After buying the meter, make sure the date, time, beeper and hypoglycemic indicator are correct. The beeper is the noise the device makes after a reading is complete. The hypoglycemic indicator alarm rings when a test result is too low. The user can control the level at which the hypoglycemic indicator alarm rings.Things You'll Need

- 3-volt lithium battery (comes with a new meter)
Instructions
Install the battery
Flip open the battery cover on the back of the device.
Install the battery and make sure the ̶0;+̶1; sign on the battery faces up.
Close the battery cover. The device will automatically prompt you to set the date and time.
Set date and time
Press the on/off button to turn the meter on, then press and hold the on/off button until ̶0;on̶1; appears on the screen.
Press the on/off button again, and the hour will flash in the upper left corner of the screen.
Use the left/right arrows to adjust the hour. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the minute, month, day and year.
Press and hold the on/off button to exit the date and time setup.
Set the beeper
Press the on/off button to turn the meter on, then press and hold the on/off button until ̶0;set̶1; appears on the screen. The beeper symbol and "on" will appear.
Use the left/right arrows to toggle between the beeper on and beeper off settings.
Press and hold the on/off button to exit the date and beeper setup.
Set the hypoglycemic (hypo) indicator
Press the on/off button to turn the meter on, then press and hold the on/off button until ̶0;set̶1; appears on the screen. The beeper symbol and ̶0;on̶1; will appear.
Press the on/off button repeatedly until ̶0;hypo̶1; appears on the screen.
Use the left/right arrows to toggle between on and off.
Press and hold the on/off button to exit the hypoglycemic indicator settings.
