2-hour postprandial blood sugar (2-h PPBS) measures your blood sugar two hours after you have a meal. It is usually measured as part of a glucose tolerance test (GTT)
A non-diabetic blood sugar is considered to be:
- Less than 140 mg/dL (7.8 mmol/L) two hours after eating
Normal non diabetic postprandial glucose: 70-140 mg/dL
