How to Keep Toes Warmer
Some people have a hard time keeping their toes warm, especially during the winter. Whether you're at home or outdoors, chilly toes can make you feel uncomfortable and spoil your day. Adding a few changes to your daily routine can help you stay cozy and comfortable, regardless of the temperature around you.
Instructions
Wear thick woolen socks instead of thin cotton socks. Wool is a better insulator because of its ability to trap air between its fibers.
Soak your feet in a warm water bath. If you have a foot massager, use warm water instead of cool. This will instantly warm your toes.
Warm a little lotion in the microwave for 5 to 10 seconds. Rub it on your feet when you feel cold. Massaging your toes and feet will increase blood circulation and make them feel warmer.
Use an electric blanket to warm your toes. If the blanket feels too hot, wrap it in a thin blanket or towel before putting it on your toes.
Use a hot water bottle. Fill it with boiling water and wrap it in a blanket so it doesn't burn you, or wait for 15 to 20 minutes for it to cool.
Pop your socks into the dryer for a few minutes before putting them on. Do not put them in the microwave because they can catch on fire.
Walk around. If you're sitting for a long time, there will be minimum blood circulation in your toes. Exercise or just take a walk around your house for a few minutes.
Wrap your feet in multiple blankets before going to sleep.
