Can you get chlamydia from coughing?
Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection caused by the bacterium Chlamydia trachomatis. It can be transmitted through sexual contact, including intercourse, oral sex, and anal sex. It can also be transmitted from an infected mother to her newborn baby during childbirth.
Coughing does not transmit chlamydia.
