Treatment
Get away from whatever is burning your forearm.
Get the burned forearm under cold water immediately. Do this for several minutes.
Look for peeling, blistered or charred skin. If the skin is charred, medical attention may be necessary. If the skin is blistered or peeling, put the burned forearm back under the cold water. Cover the burn in a clean white cloth, as dyes can cause irritation.
Apply an over-the-counter spray or lotion to relieve pain and slow swelling if the burn is minor burn, the skin reddened. Protect the burn with a sterile bandage, but not too tight as this can cause irritation. Take an over-the-counter pain reliever if necessary.
