Minor burn treatment:
Step 1: Stop the burn:
- Keep the affected area under cool running water for 10-15 minutes or hold a cool, wet cloth over it.
- Remove tight clothing or jewelry that may constrict the affected area as it swells.
Step 2: Reduce the pain:
- Take an over-the-counter pain reliever such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen to relieve pain and reduce inflammation.
