Chickenpox Vaccines: Varivax & ProQuad - What You Need to Know
There are two vaccines for chickenpox: Varivax and ProQuad. Varivax is a single-dose vaccine that is given to children between the ages of 1 and 12. ProQuad is a combination vaccine that protects against chickenpox, measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR). It is given to children between the ages of 1 and 6.
