Gargling for Sinus Infections: Relief and DIY Remedies
Sinus infections can have many different symptoms. A person may experience a headache, pressure, and even post nasal drip. Post nasal drip can lead to a sore throat if it is not treated. One way to treat post nasal drip from a sinus infection is to gargle several times per day. This is easy to do and it won't cost you anything since you most likely already have the ingredients in your home.Things You'll Need
- Water
- Apple cider vinegar
- Cup
Instructions
Pour 4 oz. of water into a glass. Add 4 oz. of apple cider vinegar. Mix the two ingredients together.
Place a mouthful of the apple cider vinegar mixture into your mouth and gargle for 15 seconds. Spit it out into the sink.
Repeat step two three more times so that you have gargled for a full 60 seconds.
Make a new batch of the apple cider vinegar gargle four hours later. You need to gargle with this mixture a total of three times each day until your sinus infection clears up.
