Pancreas vs. Kidneys: Understanding the Differences
The pancreas and kidneys are not the same thing. They are both organs, but they have different functions and are located in different parts of the body.
The pancreas is a gland located behind the stomach. It produces digestive enzymes that help break down food and hormones that help regulate blood sugar levels.
The kidneys are two bean-shaped organs located on either side of the spine, just below the rib cage. They filter waste products from the blood and produce urine.
