What are the signs and symptoms of liver cancer?
Early liver cancer usually does not cause any signs or symptoms. As a result, it's often diagnosed at an advanced stage, when treatment options may be limited.
Signs and symptoms of liver cancer can include:
* Abdominal pain
* Unexplained weight loss
* Lack of appetite
* Fatigue
* Nausea and vomiting
* Swelling or fluid buildup in the abdomen (ascites)
* Yellowing of the skin and eyes (jaundice)
* Itchy skin
* Dark urine
* Light-colored stools
* Fever
If you experience any of these signs and symptoms, it's important to see your doctor right away. Liver cancer can be treated successfully if it's diagnosed early.
