Arthrogryposis: Understanding Joint Contractures and Causes
Arthrogryposis is a medical term used to describe a condition where joints have limited movement or are completely immobile, usually due to abnormal muscle development or contracture. It can affect one or multiple joints, and may involve joints of the limbs (hands and feet), spine, neck, jaw, or other body parts. Arthrogryposis is present from birth and is considered a congenital disorder. The severity and types of joints affected can vary greatly from person to person. Treatment may involve physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and in certain cases, surgical interventions.Hodgkin Lymphoma - Related Articles
