WHAT ARE COLON CANCER SYMPTOMS?
Colorectal cancer symptoms may include:
* A change in bowel habits, such as a persistent feeling of needing to move your bowels or loose stools
* Persistent diarrhoea or constipation
* Narrow or ribbon-like stools
* Rectal bleeding or blood in your stool
* Gas or abdominal pain
* A feeling that your bowels are not completely emptying after a bowel movement
* Weakness or fatigue
* Unexplained weight loss
* Fever
See your doctor promptly if you have any of these symptoms, especially if you are over age 50 or if you have a history of colorectal polyps or colorectal cancer in your family.
