Cervical Cancer Stage I: Understanding Early-Stage Cancer
Stage I cervical cancer is the earliest and the most confined stage. It is diagnosed through a physical exam, imaging tests (like an MRI), and a biopsy of the cancerous tissue.
There are two sub-stages of Stage I cervical cancer:
* Stage IA: The diameter of the tumor does not exceed 7 mm.
* Stage IB: The tumor is greater than 7 mm in diameter.
