Nuclear Bone Scan Results: What to Expect & Timing
Nuclear bone scans typically take about 2-3 hours to complete. The actual scanning process takes around 15-30 minutes, but there is some waiting involved for the radioactive tracer to be absorbed by the bones and for the images to be processed. The doctor will usually interpret the results and provide them to the patient within a day or so of the scan.Bone Cancer - Related Articles
