Transient Lingual Papillitis: Causes, Symptoms & Treatment
The bumps that randomly pop onto your tongue are called transient lingual papillitis, also known as 'Lie Bumps'. They are small, usually white or red, and can appear anywhere on the tongue. They are caused by a buildup of dead cells and bacteria on the tongue, and are usually harmless and go away on their own within a few days. However, if they are painful or persist for more than a few weeks, it is best to see a doctor to rule out any underlying medical conditions.Tick Bites - Related Articles
