Testicle Position & Illness: Understanding Scrotal Descent

The testicles do not physically drop or descend when someone is ill. The testicles descend from the abdominal cavity into the scrotum during fetal development, typically occurring before birth or shortly after. Illness generally doesn't affect the position of the testicles.
